These telephones do not require a source of electric power for calling and communication. Acoustic energy received by a transmitter is converted to electric energy, transmitted to a receiver and then reconverted to acoustic energy. A call is originated by operation of a magneto generator. Available in 2 communication systems : direct telephones (Flg.5) and selective telephone systems with a maximum 12 telephones(Flg.6).
