The construction is produced from high tenacity polyester fiber for the seven braided strength cores and thick durable braided chafe protection cover. It offers extremely high strength while allowing an excellent deep water mooring profile or higher shock mitigation than High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (HMWPE) fiber ropes. Based on its strength and built-in wear protection, this enables smaller diameters to be used to replace standard polyester rope constructions thereby minimizing weight. This rope is hand spliceable. Specific gravity : 1.38 Standard length is 200 mtr per coil. When ordering, please specify the diam and length of the rope and one or both ends of the rope should be eye spliced.
