A balanced twelve-strand braid with each strand comprised of a compound yarn construction of high tenacity polyester plied over a proprietary synthetic co-polymer olefin fiber. The construction offers very high strength with low handling weight and is an excellent replacement for heavier all-polyester ropes. The wet wear resistance is maximized due to the application of a unique marine fiber finish. This firm, flexible non-torque rope has excellent handling qualities and is easily spliced with a standard tuck splice procedure. Specific gravity : 1.20. Standard length is 200 mtr per coil. When ordering, please specify the diam and length of the rope and one or both ends of the rope should be eye spliced.
